Payments from Germany to Russia. Which banks are active?
Since October 2024, the number of banks processing payments in euros (and not only) to Russia has again decreased. According to several of our contacts, Commerzbank, for example, has stopped working with them.
Which banks are still sending money to Russia? We have confirmed information about two banks that will successfully transfer euros as of 22.11.2024 (the information is documented):

Deutsche Bank

Unicredit Bank (Hypovereinsbank in Germany).
Most likely, the transfers will also go through OTP Bank, but we have no direct confirmation yet.
P.S. Gazprombank and its subsidiaries are now also on the US sanctions lists.
