Wildberries: Roadmap Based on the Good Practices Memorandum
The Memorandum on Best Practices for Digital Platforms was approved in November 2025. The largest marketplaces – Wildberries, Ozon, and Avito – were the signatories. The document is positioned as a voluntary commitment by platforms to proactively implement the standards of conduct stipulated by the law on the platform economy (which comes into force on October 1, 2026).
We were unable to find the full text of the memorandum itself in open sources. However, the roadmap of LLC "RVB" (Wildberries), prepared in pursuance of this memorandum, has been published.
What does it contain regarding our focus areas – trademark protection and the fight against counterfeiting?
Rights Holder Status
A mechanism is planned for the one-time confirmation of the status of a rights holder or licensee, allowing for the submission of appeals without repeatedly uploading documents (March 2026). This minor technical improvement will somewhat speed up the processing of counterfeit-related complaints.
Labeling (Marking)
It is noted that verification of the seller's registration in the "Honest Sign" (Chestny ZNAK) system is already in effect: without it, creating product cards for goods subject to mandatory labeling is impossible.
Additionally, the introduction of additional control measures for sellers selling products from their own warehouses (FBS) is announced for December 2026, including the validation of labeling codes.
Unverified accounts of foreign sellers (simply put, those with fake data), actions that render sales information unavailable (which complicates the recovery of compensation in court), problems with the actual blocking of product cards after a relevant decision has been made (cards "hang" for weeks after the Digital Arbitration confirms they are counterfeit), and other issues – these are not addressed in the Roadmap.
